Role overview

Accommodation and employee services

• Allocate accommodation based on employee needs, preferences, and availability; assist with housing concerns as the primary point of contact.
• Inspect and maintain property areas, address cleanliness and safety issues, and arrange repairs as needed.
• Manage utilities invoices and other accommodation-related costs and implement housing, overnight stay, and pets policies.
• Maintain accurate allocation, tenant, and property-maintenance records and databases.
• Coordinate welcome, arrival, and departure experiences with Housekeeping and work with Engineering, Security, and Building Management.
• Oversee colleague bus transportation between accommodation and the hotel.
• Advise employees with accommodation-related medical emergencies about the nearest clinic.
• Build relationships with employees and local communities and organize activities that promote social interaction.

Fire and property safety

• Keep fire exits and escape routes clear and ensure fire doors remain functional and unblocked.
• Ensure fire alarm systems are maintained and tested and fire safety training and drills are conducted regularly.
• Keep extinguishers, hoses, safety equipment, and signage accessible and unobstructed; conduct regular inspections.
• Prevent storage in parking areas and other unauthorized locations.

Qualifications

• Understand local housing laws, regulations, and standards and be capable of managing accommodation facilities, maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness.
• Allocate accommodation, maintain unit inventories and occupancy levels, and plan for expansion or renovations.
• Manage accommodation budgets, maintain accurate records, and address facilities, safety, and employee concerns promptly.
• Communicate effectively, resolve disputes diplomatically, and provide courteous employee service.
• Manage multiple priorities, respect confidentiality, accommodate cultural differences, and work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with software or systems for accommodation bookings, maintenance requests, and reporting.
