The role provides supervised exposure to guest service and hospitality operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas and maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Welcome and assist guests; support table setup, menu presentation, and basic food and beverage service.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, operational, and grooming standards.
- Support events, promotions, themed dining experiences, and coordination between kitchen and service teams.
- Learn to handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints under supervision.
- Assist with stock organization, inventory checks, and replenishment.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel, or food and beverage management.
- Genuine interest in restaurant operations and hospitality; willingness to learn and positive attitude.
- Good verbal communication in English, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Professional, well-groomed, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Food safety, hygiene, and service standards knowledge is an advantage; previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
