The Housekeeping Attendant supports guests and maintains guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards.
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest requests in coordination with supervisors and coordinators, and provide personalized service while respecting privacy and belongings.
- Prepare stocked trolleys, inspect assigned rooms, and maintain cleanliness and presentation.
- Close service areas safely, store equipment properly, and report maintenance issues or damaged items.
- Follow health and safety practices when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with evening turndown, accurately record completed work and requests, and collaborate across departments during busy periods and events.
Qualifications
- A service-focused personality, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for service are essential.
- Fluent English and good communication skills are required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards are required.
- Basic computer skills, safe chemical handling knowledge, discretion, and respect for guest privacy are required.
- Candidates should work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, independently, and as part of a team.
- Previous similar experience in a five-star hotel is an asset.
