The Hotel Waiter provides food and beverage service and supports restaurant, buffet, room-service, banquet, and hotel-event operations.
Guest and dining service
- Welcome guests, escort them to tables, and present menus professionally.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly according to hotel service standards.
- Check guest satisfaction and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints politely and efficiently.
Restaurant operations
- Set up tables and keep dining areas and service stations clean and organized.
- Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and clearance during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Prepare bills accurately and coordinate with the cashier for payment when required.
- Assist with room service, banquets, and hotel events when required.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and other hotel departments for smooth operations.
- Report maintenance issues, guest complaints, and operational problems to the supervisor.
- Follow hotel policies and management instructions and perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor or Food and Beverage Manager.
Requirements and standards
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance.
- Follow food-safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
Pay
- Pay is listed as AED 1,200–1,900 per month.
