Job purpose
Control the flow of guests into and out of the restaurant promptly and graciously, in line with restaurant service standards.
Guest service and reservations
- Welcome guests, escort them to designated or reserved tables, present menus, and introduce them to servers.
- Estimate wait times and use pagers to communicate with team members.
- Share floor information and guest needs with the Supervisor and Restaurant Manager.
- Describe and recommend menu items; provide information about restaurant services, facilities, dining areas, and promotions.
- Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and take corrective action when needed.
- Maintain guest information, preferences, and special occasions to personalize service.
- Update the reservation system and table availability; monitor reservations, allocations, waiting lists, discounts, and upcoming bookings.
- Record and communicate guest details and requests with professional phone etiquette.
- Follow policies and health and safety practices, and complete additional tasks assigned by management.
Job specification
- At least 2 years of experience in the same role in hospitality or F&B.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work under high-volume pressure.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver superior customer satisfaction.
- Pleasant and professional personality.
Pay
- AED 5,500–6,000 per month.
