Role purpose
Manage the flow of arriving and departing restaurant guests promptly and graciously, in line with service standards.
Guest service and reservations
- Welcome and seat guests, present menus, and introduce them to their servers.
- Estimate waiting times and coordinate with colleagues using pagers.
- Maintain guest information and use preferences and special occasions to personalize service.
- Keep table availability, reservations, allocations, waiting lists, and discount redemptions current.
- Record guest requests accurately by phone and communicate them to the team.
Service standards and coordination
- Know menu items and recommend products; provide information about restaurant services and facilities.
- Handle guest questions and complaints professionally, promptly, and efficiently.
- Coordinate necessary guest and floor information with the supervisor and restaurant manager.
- Follow policies and health and safety practices, and carry out additional tasks as directed.
Job specifications
- At least 2 years of experience in the same role in hospitality or food and beverage.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work under high-volume pressure.
- Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver superior customer satisfaction.
- Pleasant and professional personality.
Pay
- AED 5,500–6,000 per month.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person.
