Host guests and support orderly, welcoming dining-room operations at St. Regis in Doha.
Guest and dining-room service
- Greet guests, determine party size, guide guests through the dining room, and seat them at clean, available tables.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including organizing seating for groups with special needs.
- Check menus for cleanliness, currency, quantity, and condition.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being.
- Keep work areas clean throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
Standards and physical duties
- Follow company and safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate clearly with guests and coworkers.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is listed as required.
- No license or certification is listed.
