Dining-room duties
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and other standard place-setting items.
- Check that menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
Standards and team duties
- Follow company and safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets.
- Welcome guests according to company standards, communicate professionally, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and meet quality expectations.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical demands
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work or supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is specified.
- The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
