Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservations, seating arrangements and table availability to support smooth service flow.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide a thoughtful introduction to the dining experience.
• Recognise returning guests and maintain records of preferences and special occasions.
• Respond promptly to telephone enquiries, reservation requests and guest messages.
• Coordinate with the service team on seating priorities, waiting times and special requests.
• Share guest preferences, dietary requirements and celebrations with relevant team members.
• Handle enquiries and concerns discreetly, escalating matters when appropriate.
• Keep the reception area welcoming, organised and presentable.
• Support the Food & Beverage team in delivering consistent luxury service standards.

Qualifications and experience

• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills are expected.
• A professional appearance, polished manner and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality are expected.
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage reservations and guest flow efficiently are required.
• Previous hostess, restaurant receptionist or similar guest-facing luxury hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems or hotel operating systems is an advantage.
