Qualifications and experience

• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience; luxury hotel or resort experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of guest room cleaning procedures, equipment, and cleaning products.
• Understanding of hygiene standards and safe chemical handling practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality within assigned room schedules.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and respond to guest requests.
• Professional conduct and respect for guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms and suites according to housekeeping standards.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish towels, amenities, and guest supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, bedrooms, and other guest room areas.
• Arrange and present room furniture, fixtures, and amenities correctly.
• Carry out turndown service and respond to assigned guest requests.
• Promptly report maintenance defects, damage, and missing items.
• Handle guest belongings carefully and follow lost-and-found procedures.
• Keep housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment, and supply areas organized.
• Follow approved cleaning methods, chemical-handling procedures, and safety requirements.
• Accurately communicate room status updates and special requests to Housekeeping Supervisors.
• Support colleagues in maintaining efficient room operations and service standards.
