Host/Hostess role in Food and Beverage & Culinary at The St. Regis Residence in Doha, Qatar.

Guest reception and seating
- Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at a clean, available table.
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed.
- Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, including seating for groups with special needs.
- Ensure guests have appropriate place settings, including napkins and clean silverware.
- Check that menus are current, clean, plentiful, and wrinkle-free.
- Monitor seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being in dining rooms.
Workplace standards and teamwork
- Maintain clean work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Follow company and safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets; and welcome guests according to company standards.
- Communicate professionally, answer telephones with appropriate etiquette, and build positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Support team goals, respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns, and uphold quality expectations and standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is specified.
