Beverage quality and menu execution
- Own execution and consistency of the cocktail and beverage menu.
- Ensure drinks follow approved recipes, specifications, and presentation standards.
- Support seasonal cocktail development and beverage activations.
Bar leadership and training
- Lead and mentor bartenders and barbacks during service.
- Set mixology, speed, and presentation standards.
- Deliver on-the-job training and bar-team skills development.
Service delivery and guest experience
- Lead bar service during peak trading periods.
- Engage guests, provide recommendations, and deliver a premium bar experience.
- Support service recovery and guest-feedback management at the bar.
Operational controls
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene across bar stations and storage.
- Support stock control, portioning discipline, and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards.
Candidate requirements
- 4–6 years’ experience in cocktail-led bar environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of classic and modern mixology.
- Proven leadership and training capability.
- Calm, confident presence during high-volume service.
- Strong communication and guest-engagement skills.
Success measures
Cocktail quality and consistency, bar-service speed and efficiency, guest satisfaction, team capability and training progress, waste reduction, and portion control.
