Beverage preparation and guest service
- Prepare cocktails, spirits, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes; maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ensure correct glassware, garnishes, and presentation.
- Interact confidently with guests, recommend menu and beverage options, and support upselling in line with service standards.
Bar operations and standards
- Maintain clean, organized bar stations; follow stock handling, portioning, and waste-control procedures.
- Support stock counts, deliveries, and opening and closing procedures as required.
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations and maintain professional grooming and brand representation.
Candidate requirements
- Have 2–4 years' experience as a bartender in a quality venue.
- Have strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar service.
- Work efficiently under pressure and demonstrate a professional attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Success measures
Performance is measured by beverage quality and accuracy, speed of service, guest satisfaction, and compliance with standards and procedures.
