The Head Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleanliness and order in guest rooms, service areas, corridors, pantry areas, and fire exits.
The role follows established performance, hotel safety, and organizational environmental, health, and safety standards.
Housekeeping operations
- Collect the daily assignment sheet and keys, and prepare the trolley and equipment for the day's tasks.
- Clean guest rooms, replenish used items, arrange guest belongings, and clear room-service trays.
- Clean and replenish bathrooms, corridors, and public areas while respecting guest privacy.
- Report lost, found, or damaged room items to the Housekeeping Supervisor and maintenance work to the Housekeeping Order Taker.
- Inspect guest rooms against standards and provide Room Attendants with feedback for improvement.
Guest service and communication
- Attend daily briefings and communicate operational or guest issues for follow-up.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints and follow up to support guest satisfaction.
Standards and procedures
- Follow key handling procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Adhere to company environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
