Role overview
Coordinate group reservations and support seamless group experiences by liaising with organizers, managing bookings, and serving group guests.
Reservations and organizer coordination
- Coordinate reservations and bookings for meetings, conferences, and events; understand organizers' requirements and preferences.
- Assist in negotiating group rates and contracts with organizers.
- Monitor room inventory and availability, ensure accurate booking processes, and maintain records of reservations and room blocks.
- Prepare and distribute reservation confirmations and itineraries.
Events and guest support
- Assist with planning and execution of group events and functions.
- Address organizer and guest inquiries and concerns, and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics for group arrivals and departures.
Sales collaboration and safety
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote group bookings and participate in group sales and revenue meetings to review performance.
- Work safely and follow environmental, health, and safety procedures to protect guests and colleagues and support environmental conservation.
Requirements
- Coordinate group reservations and bookings for meetings, conferences, and events.
- Collaborate with event organizers to understand group requirements and preferences.
- Assist in negotiating group rates and contracts with organizers.
- Monitor and manage room inventory and availability for group bookings.
