Role Purpose
The Group Real Estate Manager leads the Real Estate department and identifies commercial areas with full amenities and utilities across countries and brands.
The role develops new business for Azadea’s target market and gathers information about new markets and potential locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead market scouting, search for prospective locations, and support expansion into new markets.
- Identify current and future real estate requirements for company and country expansion plans.
- Build relationships with leasing directors and key account directors.
- Negotiate terms for new opportunities, renewals, and rent reductions with strategic landlords.
- Coordinate projects with Country Managers, Heads of Divisions, and Brand Managers.
- Prepare feasibilities, SVRs, internal notes, lease reviews, and financial reports for board approval.
- Provide Engineering and Operations with accurate information for project delivery.
- Coordinate with Legal to complete agreements according to company standards.
- Attend industry exhibitions and maintain market intelligence.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Seven years of managerial experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a major advantage.
