Oversee agricultural operations focused on palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
Lead productivity and sustainability improvements across the operation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop strategies to improve agricultural production and efficiency.
- Lead planting, cultivation, harvesting, and distribution operations.
- Monitor production quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with agronomists and experts to improve yields and sustainability.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational financial performance.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff; foster continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends, technologies, and regulations and implement best practices.
- Report operational performance and strategic direction to the executive team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of agricultural management experience focused on palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
- Proven experience managing large-scale agricultural operations.
- Strong knowledge of modern agricultural technologies and practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with agricultural regulations and sustainability practices.
