Key responsibilities
- Design and implement agricultural systems for date, fruit, and vegetable cultivation.
- Analyze soil and crop needs to develop tailored growth plans.
- Use precision agriculture to improve yields and resource management.
- Collaborate with farmers and stakeholders to implement best practices and sustainable farming methods.
- Monitor crop health and respond to pests, diseases, and environmental conditions.
- Research and develop agricultural technologies to improve productivity and sustainability.
- Train and support local farmers on advanced methods and equipment use.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of agricultural engineering experience focused on dates, fruits, and vegetables.
- Strong knowledge of soil science, crop management, and modern agricultural technologies.
- Proficiency with agricultural software and data analysis tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
