The General Manager at SDE - Studio di Eccellenze will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that projects, services, and internal processes run smoothly and efficiently.
This part-time, remote role includes coordinating cross-functional activities, setting priorities, managing timelines, and monitoring performance against business objectives.
The General Manager will support budgeting and financial tracking, contribute to strategic planning, and provide regular reporting to leadership.
Responsibilities
also include maintaining high standards of client service, guiding team members, improving operational workflows, and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.
The role requires frequent virtual collaboration with stakeholders, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to make informed decisions with limited supervision.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate distributed teams and promote a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
- Experience in operations management, including process optimization, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated capability in strategic planning, setting measurable goals, and translating strategy into actionable plans.
- Solid financial acumen, such as budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder communication and documentation.
- Comfort with remote work tools (e.g., video conferencing, project management platforms, shared document systems) and digital collaboration practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Previous experience in a general management, operations, or business leadership role; experience in consulting or professional services is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work part time with a flexible schedule to accommodate distributed teams and varying client needs.
