Accountant role in an automotive garage, covering accounting operations, spare-parts inventory, job costing, and service-related financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Record financial transactions related to garage services and spare-parts sales.
- Prepare invoices and receipts and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process payroll and track staff expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Track spare-parts inventory costs and ensure proper valuation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and VAT requirements.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes when required.
- Enter invoices, receipts, and payment data and support accounts payable and receivable processes.
Requirements
- Education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; degree level is unspecified.
- Proven Accountant experience, preferably in the automotive or garage industry.
- Fresh candidates may apply.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with inventory management and job costing systems.
- Knowledge of VAT and local financial regulations.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,308.06–AED 6,456.11 per month.
