Automotive Accountant responsible for financial records, accurate reporting, and support of business operations.
Experience in the garage industry is described as a top priority.
Financial records and accounts
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and post and process journal entries.
- Update accounts payable and receivable.
- Process supplier invoices and payments; issue customer invoices, track collections, and reconcile vendor and customer accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements, maintain general ledger accuracy, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting and workshop cash
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Assist in financial audits.
- Manage daily petty cash for workshop expenses; approve and record small purchases and reconcile petty cash.
- Issue receipts, maintain records, and resolve billing disputes with customers.
Compliance and records
- Keep invoices and records organized and ensure compliance with UAE VAT rules.
