Role responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end collateral interest processes with counterparties, monitor collateral positions, and issue daily margin calls.
• Instruct collateral and treasury transfers via SWIFT; prepare expense payments in Æxeo Treasury.
• Agree and process client OTC payments, and work with clients to resolve open issues.
• Review vendor platforms, prime broker matching portals, and trade recaps on trade date.
• Process listed securities settlements through prime broker platforms, ensuring trades are pre-matched and settle between counterparties and prime brokers.
• Review exceptions, escalate and resolve breaks, and affirm or confirm trades between clients and executing counterparties.
• Assist with junior staff training and development and review their end-of-day reports.
• Produce regular MIS reports for clients, relationship managers, and senior management.
• Support client integration and connectivity teams with incoming and outgoing file requirements.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another quantitative subject.
• Knowledge of hedge and mutual funds.
• Strong customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills; detail focus and ability to multitask.
• Able to learn new systems, organize and prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective team-working, communication, and interpersonal skills, including client and counterparty communication by email and phone.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word proficiency.

Beneficial experience

• Cash settlements experience or exposure is beneficial but not essential.
• Exposure to ISDA bilateral agreements and collateral processes is beneficial but not essential.
• Exposure to equities, bonds, equity swaps, FX, futures, or OTC products is beneficial but not essential.
• Named platforms include Omgeo CTM, Traiana, and Markit Trade Manager.
