Sales role combining indoor and outdoor sales activities in the logistics sector.
Balances client-facing fieldwork with in-office coordination and sales support.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business through outdoor client visits and networking.
- Build relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on leads.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored logistics solutions.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service for smooth service delivery.
- Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay updated on logistics market trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven sales experience in logistics; 3 years of freight forwarding experience is required.
- Strong understanding of freight, shipping, or supply chain services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently across field and office responsibilities.
- Target-driven, with a track record of meeting sales goals.
- Valid driver's license for outdoor client visits.
- MS Office and CRM proficiency are a plus.
Workplace
