Finance & Accounting Executivee

Role description

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting records, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and prepare basic financial reports and statements.
• Monitor cash flows, support budgeting, and ensure timely recording of courier and cargo-related transactions.
• Analyze financial data to support management decisions.
• Maintain compliance with local financial regulations and communicate with internal teams and external partners.
• Support audits, maintain documentation, and contribute to process improvements in finance and accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Strong finance and financial-statement skills, including the ability to interpret and prepare basic financial reports.
• Solid accounting knowledge, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
• Analytical skills to review financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
• Clear and professional communication with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders.
• Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; a diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including basic formulas and spreadsheet management.
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Knowledge of UAE financial practices and regulations, or willingness to learn them, is an advantage.

Work arrangement

• The position is hybrid, based in Sharjah Emirate, UAE, with some flexibility for work from home.
