Freelance 3D Retail & Interior Designer

Project overview

Responsibilities

• Develop original concepts for redesigning the existing retail environment, including layouts, space planning, and customer-flow solutions.
• Produce high-quality 3D models, realistic renderings, and visual presentations.
• Turn concepts into practical, buildable proposals and recommend materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, fixtures, and displays.
• Integrate gaming-inspired aesthetics and immersive elements while balancing visual impact, functionality, durability, and commercial needs.
• Refine designs based on feedback, provide implementation details and technical documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders on the brief and site requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in 3D design, interior design, retail design, or architectural visualization.
• A strong portfolio of original design work and relevant completed or conceptual projects is mandatory.
• Excellent proficiency in professional 3D modeling and rendering software.
• Strong understanding of interior space planning, materials, lighting, finishes, and retail design principles.
• Ability to develop realistic, functional, technically achievable designs; work independently; manage timelines; and incorporate feedback.
• Creative thinking, visual communication, and attention to detail are required.
• Gaming, entertainment, esports, or experiential retail design experience is an advantage.
• Candidates must demonstrate their own design expertise, original thinking, and technical capability; AI-generated images alone are insufficient.

Compensation

• Pay is QAR 10,000–18,000 per month.
• The posting describes a freelance, project-based engagement; candidates may submit a proposed professional fee or project quotation.

Work arrangement

• The job is project-based and work location is in person.
