The Chef de Partie – Pastry prepares and presents pastries, desserts, cakes, and bakery items while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, and bakery products to established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage the pastry section and help ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and product quality.
- Monitor stock and ingredients, minimize food waste, and ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team for timely preparation and service.
- Assist with new dessert items and recipe improvements.
- Monitor equipment condition and ensure proper use of pastry tools and machinery.
Requirements
- Two years of experience as a Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, or in a similar pastry kitchen role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, cakes, desserts, and dessert presentation.
- Ability to work independently, manage the pastry section, and work in a fast-paced kitchen as part of a team.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Good organization, attention to detail, and time management.
- Relevant culinary qualification or professional training in pastry and bakery is advantageous.
- Immediate availability to join is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is QAR 3,500–4,500 per month.

- Work is in person.
