Full-time food department role in the Food / Operations department.
Job responsibilities
- Supervise daily food department operations and staff activities.
- Maintain food handling, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, storage, and expiry dates.
- Ensure proper display and arrangement of food products.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment with the relevant team.
- Reduce food wastage and ensure proper handling of damaged or expired products.
- Guide and supervise department staff and allocate daily duties.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety procedures.
- Handle customer concerns and coordinate with management when required.
- Monitor daily sales, stock movement, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to support smooth operations.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of experience in food retail, supermarket, hypermarket, or FMCG operations.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and food handling practices.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to supervise a team and manage daily operations.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
