Role overview

Implementation and functional support

• Participate in end-to-end implementation, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration.
• Plan and execute migration of master data, opening balances, and open documents with validation and reconciliation.
• Prepare test scripts, coordinate UAT, support go-live and hypercare, and stabilize the system across branches.
• Prepare process documentation and user manuals, and conduct end-user training.
• Configure and support Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Warehouse modules, including B2B/B2C sales, pricing, discounts, promotions, credit limits, returns, and credit memos.
• Manage inventory movements, transfers, journals, physical counts, costing, inventory-to-GL reconciliation, and warehouse receipts, shipments, put-aways, picks, bins, and multi-location stock.
• Support LS Central store/POS setup, retail pricing, promotions, offers, statement posting, replenishment, synchronization issues, and store stock variances.
• Develop and maintain AL extensions; build OData, SOAP, and REST integrations; manage sandbox and production deployments; coordinate updates; configure reports, job queues, and automations.
• Develop advanced SQL queries; trace transactions; validate and reconcile sub-ledgers, GL, stock valuation, and POS/ERP data; analyze performance issues.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and data models for sales, inventory, and finance insights when required.
• Resolve escalated ERP issues, perform root-cause analysis, coordinate with partners and Microsoft, and maintain issue logs, knowledge bases, and procedures.
• Recommend system-based improvements and maintain consistent processes and data across retail and wholesale operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV experience.
• Practical experience in Retail and Wholesale FMCG operations.
• Techno-functional knowledge of Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Warehouse modules.
• Understanding of Retail/POS, B2B and B2C sales, pricing, promotions, inventory movements, transfers, returns, costing, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP configuration, customization, integrations, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
• Understanding of AL development, extensions, APIs/Web Services, and Business Central database structure.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including advanced queries, joins, CTEs, views, stored procedures, performance analysis, and data extraction.
• Experience in ERP implementation, data migration, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Ability to work independently with business users and technical teams; strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• LS Central / LS Retail experience and Power BI, analytics, dashboards, or data modeling knowledge are added advantages.

Schedule and employment

• Full-time role; working hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
