Job scope

Track company financial performance and analyze business performance and market conditions.

Create forecasts and support senior management’s tactical and strategic decisions through periodic reports.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze financial statements, forecast revenues and expenditures, and create financial models for decision support.
  • Support management in developing financial plans and determining resource use for business objectives and business cases.
  • Identify trends, track business and financial performance, and recommend optimization based on financial plans.
  • Perform variance studies and comparative performance analysis, and develop forecast models.
  • Generate periodic reports and work with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Develop and update processes and policies to optimize workflows and improve financial growth.
  • Recommend creative alternatives to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
  • Understand departments and divisions and identify ideas to grow and improve the business.
  • Advise management on strategic decisions and support projects as needed.
  • Keep abreast of new financial regulations and policies.

Position requirements

  • Experience across UAE, Oman, Kenya, and Qatar handling VAT reporting, calculation, and filing.
  • Experience across UAE, Oman, Kenya, and Qatar handling ICV certifications and accounts payable approvals.
  • Experience across UAE, Oman, Kenya, and Qatar handling income or corporate tax, local files, and transfer pricing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
