Finance and accounting duties
- Organize and secure files, records, cash, and cash equivalents according to company policies.
- Classify and summarize financial data using journals, ledgers, or computers.
- Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial, accounting, auditing, statistical, or payroll reports and tables.
- Complete period-end closing procedures and reports.
- Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and vendor invoices until resolved or paid.
Coordination and workplace conduct
- Coordinate departmental tasks, mentor or model expected work, and ensure assigned work is completed on time and to quality standards.
- Follow company policies, protect confidential information and company assets, and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, handle telephone calls appropriately, and build positive working relationships.
- Report work-related accidents or injuries immediately; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
- The role may involve moving or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications and experience
- Preferred education: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience is specified as required.
- No license or certification is specified.
