Full-time, on-site Facilities Engineer/Supervisor role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
Oversees facilities operations and building systems to meet safety, efficiency, company standards, and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for key assets and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, manage work orders, and coordinate contractors.
- Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support budget and resource planning.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience in facilities engineering and operations, overseeing building systems and services.
- Proficiency in facility management practices, including planning, coordination, and service optimization for complex properties.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills for MEP equipment and related infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or similar engineering, or a related technical field.
- Professional facilities management or engineering certifications are advantageous.
- Experience supervising technical teams, managing contractors, and coordinating facility workstreams.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and ability to ensure compliance on-site.
- Strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills for working with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in large-scale or landmark regional property developments is beneficial.
