The role includes setting tables, communicating with the kitchen, serving guests, and cleaning work areas and supplies.
Guest service and standards
- Take initiative to help guests enjoy their meal and make transactions feel like part of the experience.
- Set tables, communicate with the kitchen, interact with and serve guests, and clean work areas and supplies.
- Create a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, uphold quality standards, and maintain professional appearance and communications.
- Manage menus by reading and visually verifying information; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Physical requirements
- The work involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
- Duties include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance.
- The role requires reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is indicated; supervisory experience is not indicated as necessary.
- No license or certification is listed.
Work arrangement
- Full-time position at the St. Regis Palm Jumeirah location in Dubai; the posting states that the role is not remote.
