Implement structured process to achieve on-time delivery of materials for Oil & Gas Operations.
Frequently coordinates with suppliers/contractors, manufacturers, freight forwarders, warehouse personnel, buyers, MMDG, user departments etc., in meeting on-time delivery objective.
Frequently take actions to achieve delivery improvement to meet emergencies, shutdowns and project schedules.
First point of contract for coordination and reporting he status of shutdown related materials as well as obtaining resolutions against non-complaint materials (CNR) delivery.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in purchasing and or expediting, preferably in an Oil and Gas environment.
- Knowledge of technical specifications and international standards for equipment and materials and related certifications.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English skills is required.
- Proficient in MS Office suite, especially MS Word and MS Excel applications. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Knowledge of unit of measure, INCOTERMS and general import/export regulations.
- Post-Secondary Technical or Business Diploma, however, university degree is preferred.
