Event Manager

Role overview

Location and workplace

• The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with on-site event operations.

Schedule

• Working days are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Flexibility is required during events, and longer hours may be needed based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage events and activations from concept through completion.
• Develop timelines, budgets, production schedules, and event plans.
• Manage logistics, permits, manpower, branding, production, and on-site operations.
• Handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, production teams, venues, and internal departments.
• Manage suppliers, negotiate quotations and commercial terms, and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain client and stakeholder relationships and prepare post-event reports and evaluations.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in an events, experiential, or activations agency environment.
• Proven end-to-end management of large-scale events, corporate events, activations, exhibitions, and/or government events.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, supplier management, and client servicing skills.
• Strong event production and operations knowledge; able to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
• UAE events experience is highly preferred; candidates should be UAE-based and immediately or near-immediately available.
• Candidates must be eligible for a UAE labour card or work permit.
