Role overview

Estimation and procurement duties

• Prepare estimates and quotations for glass partitions, doors, glazing, and related projects.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements; take off quantities and calculate materials.
• Estimate glass, profiles, hardware, fittings, accessories, and related materials.
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations; prepare purchase requirements and coordinate availability and pricing.
• Assist with site measurements and coordinate requirements with project, site, and installation teams.
• Follow up on quotations, orders, delivery schedules, and specifications; maintain purchasing and project records.
• Identify discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, and site requirements and communicate them to the relevant team.
• Support the Project Manager and Operations Team with costing, procurement, and material coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in estimation, purchasing, glass, glazing, fit-out, or construction.
• Practical knowledge of glass partitions, doors, glazing systems, hardware, glass types, thicknesses, profiles, fittings, and accessories.
• Experience in estimation and quantity take-off; ability to understand shop drawings, architectural drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Experience coordinating suppliers and obtaining material quotations.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is preferred.
• Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple quotations and project requirements within deadlines.
• UAE experience is preferred; a UAE driving licence and immediate availability are advantages.

Compensation and benefits

• Salary is AED 3,000–AED 3,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
• UAE employment visa, medical insurance, annual leave, and other benefits are provided under company policy and UAE Labour Law.
