My Door Glass LLC is hiring an Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and support VAT compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain records of invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, and supporting documents.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable; perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare invoices, follow up on outstanding payments, and prepare accounting and financial reports.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Handle VAT accounting and documentation, and assist with VAT return preparation and filing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on accounting matters.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and VAT requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 year of UAE accounting experience.
- Hands-on UAE VAT experience is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is AED 3,000–AED 3,500 per month.
- UAE employment visa and medical insurance are provided as per company policy and regulations.
