Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues at the hotel.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, mechanical-room equipment, and building systems.
Maintenance duties
- Inspect equipment and operate building and equipment utility shut-off valves.
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
- Perform basic repairs across air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building systems.
- Prepare and paint surfaces, repair minor drywall and wood trim, and replace bulbs and air-conditioning filters.
- Repair interior and exterior landscaping and external sprinkler systems.
- Use lockout/tagout before maintenance work and communicate shift activities and issues to other teams.
- Perform general housekeeping, engineering inventory, television programming, and computer-based schedule or temperature updates.
Qualifications
- A driver’s license is required.
- Some general maintenance and surface-preparation or painting experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus.
Schedule and location
- Full-time role at the St. Regis location in Dubai; the posting states the role is not remote.

Follow company safety and security procedures, report hazards and incidents, complete safety training, and store flammable materials properly.
Maintain professional appearance, protect company information and assets, and meet guest-service and quality standards.
The role involves lifting, carrying, climbing stairs or ladders, and bending or reaching.
