Lead electrical execution for district cooling plants and major building projects in Abu Dhabi, from MV/LV/ELV installation through authority approvals to final energization.
Serve as the technical lead on site and key point of contact with DMT, TAQA, and ADDC.
What you’ll do
- Supervise installation of MV systems, including RMUs, transformers, and switchgear; LV systems, including MCCs, VFDs, and MDBs; and ELV systems, including BMS, SCADA, fire alarms, CCTV, and access control.
- Coordinate electrical connections for chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and auxiliary plant equipment.
- Manage authority submissions, inspections, NOCs, metering, and permanent power energization with DMT, TAQA, and ADDC.
- Lead testing and commissioning of switchgear, transformers, VFDs, and BMS/SCADA integration.
- Review and approve Method Statements, Risk Assessments, MARs, and ITPs; resolve RFIs and NCRs.
- Work with clients, consultants, contractors, and district cooling operators; mentor junior engineers with a strong HSE focus.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of site execution and commissioning experience in the UAE; Abu Dhabi experience is preferred.
- Proven delivery on district cooling plants, central chiller plants, or heavy MEP facilities.
- Must have DMT approval, TAQA/ADDC engineer registration, and UAE Society of Engineers membership.
- Strong knowledge of TAQA/ADDC Wiring Regulations, DMT codes, NFPA 70/72, and IEC/BS standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and MS Project/Office.
- Excellent written and spoken English.

- Pay is listed as AED 10–15 per month.
