Responsibilities
- Manage project documents, including engineering drawings, RFIs, technical submittals, method statements, and correspondence.
- Maintain registers, filing systems, submission logs, revision records, and document numbering, version control, tracking, and archives.
- Coordinate submissions, approvals, and distribution with consultants, clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Upload and manage documents using Aconex, SharePoint, and other EDMS platforms; follow up on pending approvals.
- Prepare weekly and monthly document control reports and maintain approved, shop, as-built, and handover drawings.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and ISO documentation standards; support project teams with documentation and coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to five years of UAE experience as a Document Controller in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in roads, bridges, marine, or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Aconex, MS Office, SharePoint, and document management systems.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and construction project procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document handling.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Immediate joiners and candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
Work arrangement
- Work location is in person.
- Employment is full-time.
