Utility Foreman role supervising underground utility works on infrastructure or road construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise water supply, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and other underground utility installation work.
- Coordinate site activities with engineers, subcontractors, and site workers.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, project specifications, and method statements.
- Monitor excavation, trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and reinstatement.
- Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and approved work procedures.
- Coordinate setting out and level checks with surveyors and technical teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and daily site progress.
- Report progress, site issues, and delays to the Site Engineer.
- Maintain worksite housekeeping and quality standards.
- Coordinate utility inspections and prepare for consultant approvals.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of experience as a Utility Foreman in UAE infrastructure or road construction projects.
- Good knowledge of underground utility networks, drainage, sewerage, and water pipeline works.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Experience supervising site workers and coordinating daily activities.
- Knowledge of site safety requirements and quality procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- UAE infrastructure project experience is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–6,000 per month.
