Director Of Marketing & Communications
to lead its strategic marketing, branding, communications, media relations, digital presence, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing an integrated communications and marketing strategy that enhances institutional reputation, strengthens brand positioning, and supports organizational growth both regionally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's marketing and strategic communications strategy.
- Lead branding, corporate communications, public relations, media relations, and reputation management initiatives.
- Oversee digital marketing, website, social media, and content strategy.
- Drive high-profile events, campaigns, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Build and manage relationships with media, agencies, government stakeholders, and strategic partners.
- Advise executive leadership on communications strategy and crisis communications.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team.
- Manage departmental budgets, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 14 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated expertise across branding, strategic communications, public relations, media relations, digital marketing, and corporate communications.
- Strong executive stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Experience within higher education, public sector, government, or large complex organizations will be advantageous.
