Role overview

Responsibilities

• Document current-state processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities using process and data analysis.
• Develop Lean-aligned future-state workflows and implementation-ready specifications, user stories, business rules, data requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify opportunities for AI agents, automation, integrations, and digital workflows.
• Support rapid prototyping, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and validation, particularly with ServiceNow.
• Prepare documentation for privacy, security, and IT risk reviews; facilitate stakeholder discovery and design sessions.
• Create adoption materials and support knowledge transfer and organizational change management.

Required qualifications

• At least five years of business analysis experience, including detailed specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready documentation.
• Experience facilitating discovery, process mapping, requirements development and validation, and design discussions.
• Lean Green Belt certification or equivalent applied experience is required.
• Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills; ability to synthesize stakeholder input and communicate trade-offs.
• Ability to work quickly and iteratively in ambiguous, fast-paced, rapid-prototyping environments.
• Understanding of AI-enabled solutions, automation, integrations, low-code/no-code tools, and human oversight of automated processes.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with agentic AI, integrations, automation, or human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Excel, Power Query, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data-analysis methods.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, privacy, security, risk, compliance, or governance.
• Organizational Change Management certification or equivalent adoption experience; higher education, public-sector, or complex-enterprise experience is preferred.
• Additional certifications in organizational change management, business analysis, or relevant digital technologies are an asset.

Pay and contract

• Pay rate is CAD 85.50 per hour, depending on experience.
• Contract length is six months with potential extension; the stated schedule is 35 hours per week.
• T4 classification is the primary pay rate basis; INC classification may also be considered where applicable.
