Protect organizational data, systems, and applications by operating and improving enterprise security solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer file integrity monitoring, database protection, data loss prevention, data classification, endpoint detection and response, antivirus, and application/API security solutions.
- Unlock underused features in existing tools and improve security value.
- Design and maintain security architectures across system, data, and application layers in on-premises and cloud environments.
- Identify and remediate security gaps, misconfigurations, exposure risks, and web/API threats.
- Maintain patches, updates, vendor recommendations, and internal security standards.
- Support incident response for data leakage, endpoint threats, and application/API attacks; contribute to audits, assessments, and compliance reporting.
- Lead process and system improvements and share knowledge across the team.
Qualifications
- 4–7+ years of experience in system, data, endpoint, or application security.
- Hands-on expertise with data protection, endpoint security, and application/API security technologies.
- Strong understanding of data protection controls, system hardening, and application security principles.
- Experience supporting on-premises and cloud environments.
- Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement capabilities.
Advantageous certifications
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a strong advantage.
