Incident Response and Security Operations
- Create and develop cybersecurity center processes and procedures.
- Work with SIEM engineers and security teams to develop and refine correlation rules.
- Use incident response tools for detection, investigation, and response; analyze security events and guide team members.
- Produce cyber intelligence reports for security staff, business representatives, and senior management.
- Provide on-call support after business hours.
EDR and NDR Administration
- Administer EDR technology; deploy, upgrade, and maintain agents across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Monitor agent health and troubleshoot agents that are not reporting.
- Develop and manage EDR policies and integrate EDR with SIEM and other security tools.
- Administer NDR technology, develop and manage NDR policies, and integrate NDR with SIEM and other security tools.
- Create custom EDR/NDR correlation rules, review configurations for enhancements, and manage provider support tickets as necessary.
Experience and Skills
- Experience with incident response plans and knowledge of SOC policies, processes, and procedures.
- Experience with SIEM, incident response tools, and detection, investigation, and response.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate cyber matters to technical and non-technical audiences and lead a cyber team.
Preferred Certification
- GIAC GCIH, GMON, GCFA, or a similar certification is preferred.
