Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP implementation and support projects; translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Configure, test, and deploy SAP modules according to SAP standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Provide SAP module expertise, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive solution adoption.
• Run workshops, training, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and audit readiness across SAP environments.
• Contribute to solution architecture and continuous improvement; manage and mentor junior consultants and client-side teams.

SAP module knowledge

• Finance and controlling: FI, CO, FM, GM, and PSM; includes accounting, cost tracking, budgets, grants, and public-sector compliance.
• Logistics and supply chain: MM, WM/EWM, IM, SD, TM, and GTS; includes procurement, inventory, warehousing, distribution, transport, and trade controls.
• Plant and assets: PM, EAM, and CS; includes maintenance scheduling, lifecycle management, and equipment repair.
• Projects and workforce: PS, PPM, HCM, and SuccessFactors; includes project management, planning, personnel, payroll, talent, and workforce planning.
• Quality and compliance: QM and GRC; includes quality control, access control, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Analytics and technology: BW/4HANA, Analytics Cloud, S/4HANA, BTP, PI/PO or Integration Suite, and Fiori.

Essential requirements

• At least 5 years delivering SAP solutions in highly regulated environments.
• Deep functional expertise in at least three listed SAP modules.
• Understanding of procurement frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior or executive level.

Desirable qualifications

• SAP certification in one or more relevant modules is desirable.
• Knowledge of ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile delivery methodologies is desirable.
• Experience with SAP RISE or private cloud deployment is desirable.
• Background in logistics, engineering, or programme management is desirable.
