Digital Identity Consultant | Electronic Verification Specialist

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve verification workflows, and design identity verification for onboarding and account management.
• Evaluate document, biometric, facial matching, and liveness solutions; assess platforms, vendors, APIs, and integrations.
• Support eKYC, risk-based rules, escalation paths, manual review, MFA, single sign-on, federation, access management, and identity lifecycle initiatives.
• Investigate verification failures, suspicious activity, identity fraud, impersonation, and system issues; monitor accuracy and performance.
• Prepare reports, process maps, specifications, procedures, and audit documentation; conduct workshops and solution demonstrations.
• Support integration, user acceptance and system testing, issue tracking, training, privacy compliance, incident investigation, and appropriate automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, business consulting, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in digital identity, electronic verification, eKYC, IAM, fraud prevention, or technology consulting.
• Knowledge of identity proofing, authentication, authorization, customer onboarding, risk-based verification, fraud patterns, and MFA/SSO/federation.
• Familiarity with verification technologies, APIs, web services, integrations, JSON, privacy-by-design, data minimization, and applicable regulations.
• Experience with platform evaluation, requirements gathering, specifications, documentation, analysis, testing, and quality assurance.
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, confidentiality, and responsible handling of sensitive identity data.
• OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, relevant identity frameworks, regulated-industry experience, and relevant certifications are advantageous or preferred.
