The description identifies the position as Senior Manager – Java Full Stack Engineering and specifies 14+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade full-stack applications.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and architect Java microservices.
- Develop real-time data pipelines and event-driven systems using Kafka; build agentic AI solutions using AWS.
- Design scalable, resilient cloud systems and uphold coding, security, performance, and DevOps practices.
- Partner with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and clients on requirements and solution design.
- Mentor and manage developers, lead multi-team programs, and drive Agile delivery and continuous improvement.
Required qualifications and skills
- 14+ years of experience.
- Strong Java full-stack development, including Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Expertise in Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture; familiarity with building AI agents.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD or other DevOps practices.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Modern JavaScript framework exposure is acceptable at a basic level for backend-heavy candidates.
Preferred skills
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra are good to have.
- Angular or React expertise is good to have.
- Exposure to AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot, or Replit is good to have.
- Scalable system design, performance optimization, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management are listed as good-to-have skills.
