Lead design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications with AI-assisted development practices.
The role calls for full-stack technology expertise, modern architecture knowledge, hands-on event-driven systems and cloud experience, and leadership and stakeholder management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade full-stack applications.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Architect Java microservices; develop real-time Kafka pipelines and event-driven systems.
- Build Agentic AI solutions using AWS and design scalable, resilient systems on cloud platforms.
- Work with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and clients on requirements and solution design.
- Ensure coding, security, performance, and DevOps best practices; drive Agile delivery.
- Mentor and manage developers, lead multi-team delivery, and foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support stakeholder engagement, transformation, automation, and accountability for business outcomes.
Required skills and qualifications
- 14+ years of experience.
- Strong Java full-stack development experience, including Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Expertise in Apache Kafka or event-driven architecture; familiarity with building AI agents.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, and CI/CD or DevOps practices.
- Modern JavaScript framework exposure; basic exposure is acceptable for backend-heavy candidates.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Good-to-have skills
- NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Angular or React expertise, Agentic AI, and hands-on exposure to AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot, or Replit.
- Leadership, team management, communication, stakeholder management, scalable system design, and performance optimization.
