Role overview

Retail shift leader duties

• Assist store management with daily operations and oversee Store Manager duties when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent.
• Support personnel management, direct associates, resolve customer service issues, and model sales and service standards.
• Maintain store conditions and ensure company policies, legislation, and health, safety, and security standards are followed.
• Handle complaints, support sales targets and KPIs, and oversee on-shift inventory processes.

Delivery driver duties

• Deliver cannabis products safely and promptly within 45 minutes of order placement.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization; verify customer identification and follow assigned routes and safety protocols.
• Use delivery apps, communicate with customers, manage cash floats, and collect payments when required.

Required qualifications

• High school completion and college, CEGEP, vocational, or technical training are required.
• A valid driver’s licence, safe driving skills, and a current clean driving abstract are required; no violations in the last three years or major violations at any time.
• At least two years of retail experience and current valid Alberta SellSafe certification are required.
• A working smartphone with data plan and charger is required.
• Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, sales, organization, reliability, and teamwork are required.
• Flexible availability includes evenings, weekends, and on-call availability during 6–10-hour shifts.
• Understanding of applicable health and safety legislation is required.

Preferred and asset qualifications

• Cannabis industry experience is preferred.
• Three years of verifiable driving experience is preferred based on insurance eligibility criteria.
• Defensive Driver training and valid First Aid certification are assets.

Schedule and employment
