The Data, Analytics & AI team provides data, analytics, and business intelligence to support data-driven decisions, improve efficiency, and optimize returns.
The Data Science Expert is expected to strengthen the bank's data science capabilities and accelerate capability development and business value.
Key responsibilities
- Work with business executives and departments to develop advanced data science solutions for implementation.
- Develop use cases such as intelligent character recognition, computer vision, behavioral and early-warning analysis, generative AI, NLP, LLMs, and hyper-personalization.
- Design, test, and launch complex models using contemporary and traditional data-mining techniques on structured and unstructured data.
- Develop big-data capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytics initiatives.
- Improve data mining and collection procedures; ensure data quality and integrity; analyze data problems.
- Plan and prioritize data projects; build analytical systems, predictive models, and AI capabilities.
- Test data-driven products, visualize data, create reports, present to senior stakeholders, and experiment with new models and techniques.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as data science, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- At least seven years of experience in data science roles; banking or fintech experience is preferred.
- Certifications in Python, R, SQL, AI, or machine learning are nice to have.
- The role calls for knowledge of data analytics and data management, advanced analytical techniques, and problem-solving, delivery, stakeholder-management, and strategic-thinking skills.
